Hi5 opened its doors back in 2011 in Calle Colón, Bétera, along with Inés Alemany and lots of people in Bétera that trusted, helped and supported us since the beginning of our project.
In 2016 Hi5 opened a Branch in Cortes Valencianas, with the Hi5 Language School, a bilingual Activity Centre and Hi5 Café, which is still open today as Café Beniferri.
Our Partnership with Cambridge was made official in 2016, offering all Hi5 Community the guarantee of service and quality teaching of Cambridge Courses. Moreover, there are several different advantages for our staff an alumni, such as workshops for students and staff, staff training and storytelling for children of different levels.
In 2018, Hi5 Bétera was moved to Bétera Boulevard, with a centre newly built in a bigger and better location for all students and families from Bétera.
In 2019, Hi5 opened Hi5 Café & Fun in Bétera Boulevard, with an Activity Centre and Hi5 Café, offering service to all Hi5 students, indoor park, bilingual birthday parties, and a place to hold our Funtime Schools in Christmas, Easter and Summer. This centre remained closed for a while due to Covid-19 pandemic, but now it has been opened again offering these services from Thursday to Saturdays and for the Funtime Schools.
There are some students that have been part of the Hi5 family that we are really proud of, therefore we want to honour them in the celebration of these 10 years of Hi5:
Back in 2010, she was Julio Navarro’s private student. Elena was one of the first student we had in Hi5. Excellence and dedication have always characterised her, as well as her passion, sympathy and affection. Nowadays she is a student of Medicine in the Catholic University of Valencia. She will soon be a great professional and we are really proud of her and her accomplishments. Elena and her family will always be a fundamental part of Hi5!
Pau was also one of the first students we had in Hi5. She was always outstanding and compromised with her learning. She graduated in Bachillerato with honours, then studied a Degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences in Universitat de València. She also studied a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction and now she’s studying a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary School. She is also a «Traditional Valencian dancer» and she was the «Obrera», the Queen of the Festivities in Bétera in 2019.
Laura has been a student in Hi5 Education Centres since we opened in Cortes Valencianas in 2016. She is now in 1st of Bachillerato and she accomplished to get a Grade A which means a C1 Level when she sat the B2 FCE in 2020. She has won some awards for poetry writing and she loves reading and writing. She’s been studying English with us since she was 10 years old. Next year she is going to finish her high school studies in the USA. Laura is one of the greatest students that have been part of the Hi5 Family and we are really proud of her!
Juan has been a student in Hi5 Education Centres since we opened in Cortes Valencianas in 2016. He finished high school in the USA after he accomplished to get a Cambridge B2 Certificate and then a C2 Proficiency in a short period of time. He also studies Chinese and he is now studying a bilingual degree in Economy and Law in the University of Pamplona and he will soon become a great man and professional. He and his family are special part of this Hi5 and we are really proud of his accomplishments!
